VEGAN PEANUT BUTTER AMARETTO WAFFLES
MAJOR KEY: Swap out the peanut butter for nutella if you want to be a fat ass :) Or add in a couple of tablespoons of plant based protein powder...balance :).
- 1 1/2 cups almond milk
- 2 cups all-purpose or wheat flour
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup agave nectar
- 1 tbsp Tastic Sweet*
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp amaretto (optional)
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- cacao nibs for garnish
Whisk all ingredients together until smooth in a medium bowl.
Spray waffle iron with coconut oil non stick spray.
Pour batter evenly across waffle iron.
Cook until golden brown.
- Serve with fresh berries, cacao nibs and/or additional peanut butter.
