SLOW COOKER TRI TIP ROAST
MAJOR KEY: You can substitute meat with this recipe. Some meats that work well in a slow cooker are: chuck roast, beef brisket, lamb shanks and short ribs.
INGREDIENTS
3 lb boneless tip roast
1 large onion chopped
3 cloves garlic
8 potatoes peeled and quartered
3 stalks celery
8 carrots peeled, cut into 1" pieces
3 tbsp Tastic spice
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1 Lipton® onion soup packet
1 - 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 - 10.5 oz can diced fire roasted tomatoes
DIRECTIONS

In a 6-8 quart slow cooker, add onions, garlic, potatoes, carrots and celery.

In a small bowl, add seasonings and then rub onto roast.
- Heat a large skillet over high heat with a drizzle of olive oil.
- Sear the tri tip on both sides for 3 minutes.

Place roast on top of vegetables.

Sprinkle onion soup packet on top of roast.

Next add mushroom soup, beef broth and tomatoes.

Cook on high 8 hours or low 12 hours. It's done with meat breaks apart easily with a fork.
