SAFFRON DATE COMPOUND BUTTER
INGREDIENTS
- 4 oz salted butter (softened)
- A pinch of saffron
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 5 dates, chopped fine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
DIRECTIONS
1. Combine saffron threads and extract. Allow threads to dissolve.
2. Combine remaining ingredients along with the saffron extract to a small bowl.
3. Whisk together until well combined.
4. Store in a container with a lid until ready for use. Treat it the same way you treat regular butter.
