Power Up Shake

 POWER UP SHAKE

MAJOR KEY: I love this show but so does my 10 month old son! Also, adjust and add other fruits and veggies as you see fit.

 

INGREDIENTS:

1 ripe banana
1 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/3 cup frozen pineapple
1/2 cup spinach, packed to the max
1/4 cup kale, loosely packed (don't go crazy here or the color will be discolored)
1/2 frozen or cooked beet (optional)
2 teaspoons hemp seeds
1/2 teaspoon Super Greens Powder (optional but recommended)
1 1/2 cup milk of choice (I like almond)
1/2 cup of ice

 

DIRECTIONS:

1. Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes on high or until completely blended. For smaller toddlers, I would add 1/2 cup of additional milk to thin this smoothie down so they have an easier time drinking it. 
2. Serve and enjoy.
