KALE AND OKRA CHIPS
OKRA CHIPS
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. fresh okra
- 1 tbsp. white vinegar
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. Tastic Original*
DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 500.

Rinse the okra and slice each pod lengthwise. Place the sliced okra in a large bowl with enough water to completely cover. Add the vinegar and mix well. Let stand for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Drain and rinse the sliced okra. Pat dry with paper towels.

Place the prepared okra in a large bowl and drizzle over the olive oil. Sprinkle on the Tastic Spice. Toss until all pods are coated evenly with the oil and seasonings.

Put the seasoned okra on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and lower the temp to 170 degrees. When the temp drops, put back into the oven. Continue to bake 1-3 hours or until crisp. Check every 30-40 minutes.

Remove from the oven and cool at least 30 minutes before serving.
KALE CHIPS
INGREDIENTS
- 1 small bunch kale (about ½ lb.)
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. Tastic Original*
DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray two baking trays with cooking spray. Remove the center rib and stems from each kale leaf and discard. Tear or cut the leaves into bite-size pieces, about 2 to 3 inches wide. Wash the kale and dry it very well.

2. Place the kale in a large bowl. Drizzle with the oil and sprinkle with Tastic Spice, and massage the oil and seasonings into the kale with your hands to distribute evenly. Place the kale in a single layer on the baking sheets, and bake until crisp and the edges are slightly browned, 12 to 15 minutes.
