Banana Split Pancakes

BANANA SPLIT PANCAKES

It’s another morning and I wanted some pancakes. Coltrane also loves pancakes. Tried Banana Split for breakfast from @krusteaz! It’s a fun and delicious way to start your mornings with this treat. Great with a glass of chocolate milk, too! 😉

INGREDIENTS

  • Krusteaz Light and Fluffy Buttermilk Pancake Mix
  • cold water
  • bananas
  • other fruits (optional)

For 6-7 pieces

  • 1 cup Krusteaz Light and Fluffy Buttermilk Pancake Mix
  • 2/3 cup cold water

For 12-14 pieces

  • 2 cups Krusteaz Light and Fluffy Buttermilk Pancake Mix
  • 1 1/3 cups cold water

For 18-21 pieces

  • 3 cups Krusteaz Light and Fluffy Buttermilk Pancake Mix
  • 2 cups cold water

DIRECTIONS

1. Heat: Heat pancake griddle to 375F (medium heat). Lightly grease griddle. 

2. Whisk: Measure mix by lightly spooning it into measuring cup and leveling it off. Whisk mix and water. Do not over-mix. Let batter stand 2 minutes. Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter per pancake onto griddle. 

3. Cook: Cook 1-1 1/2 minutes per side. For light and fluffy pancakes, flip only once, when tops bubble and bottoms are golden brown.
